I have always been devoted to art and technology. I am a big sucker for both. As silly as it may sound, morning cartoons and magazines were what really geared my interest towards the field of graphic design. As a child I loved to doodle and paint. I would join art contests, art clubs and receive awards. It was a rewarding feeling to be recognized for your own creations.
Later in middle school, I gained interest in computers. In computer class I was that curious student that couldn’t wait to get his hands on the computers and learn something new. Everything from there sort of took off and I found myself reading a lot about computers.
In high school I ended up taking a desktop publishing class, which was an overall intro to graphics; learning to create simple letterheads, business cards, logos, etc. From that point I was more than ready to jump into the world of graphic design. I loved computers, I loved art. It was two things that went hand in hand. Towards the end of my high school days I also became very interested in animated films. I was so fascinated and inspired by the process that went into the films so I began to debate which route I would take. After doing some research for the right education I ended up in Fort Lauderdale where my creative journey began. I have met many great and inspiring people, teachers, and talented artists.
Aside from graphic design, I also like to paint and sculpt. While oil painting is my favorite medium, pencil and paper is always a good choice for jotting down fresh ideas.
Thanks to family for helping me accomplish what I love to do most. I give a special thanks to my father, for all his aid and support.
